I stumbled upon this book when I stopped at a Barnes & Noble bookstore on my way home from the breeder where I had just put down a deposit on my new puppy. I was looking for a book that would tell me in simple terms everything I needed to know about bringing home a new puppy. This book caught my eye with its easy to read graphic style. The advice was very helpful.
I especially like the way the author uses a positive reinforcement method of training. My puppy really responded well to this method and I felt like it helped me to bond with my new puppy while also reinforcing the desired behaviors.
If you only buy one book on how to train your new puppy, this should be it.Â
